Thirty six years after the Mahabharata war, time is up for the Pandavas. Lord Krishna leaves the human body, killed by a non-descript hunter. The city of Dwarka is submerged in the sea. The invincible Arjuna, a hero of many battles is entrusted with the responsibility of escorting the surviving men, women and children to safety.

As the caravan makes its way through the jungles, they are attacked by forest bandits. Arjuna tries to stop them by invoking the celestial weapons but none appear. Worse still, the greatest bowman of all times is unable to lift his bow; reduced to a silent spectator even as the thieves drag away women along with their jewels.

A distraught Arjuna is unable to come to terms with what had happened and goes to
Sage Vyasa. The Rishi explains to Arjuna the concept of the yugas.

Time moves on and the past becomes irrelevant. Tretayuga gave way to Dwaparayuga and now Kaliyuga is all set to enter. Your time is over and there is nothing much you can do about it. Prepare to ascend the heavens".

We humans have a finite time on earth - an average life span of seventy years. In this limited timeframe, we need to realize our dreams and achieve as much as possible. As we grow old, the energy in the body starts shrinking.

The mind is the last to tire. Of what use is a sharp mind if its thoughts are not supported by actions matched by the physical body?

Every second, minute, hour and day is significant. The window of opportunity is limited. Before you realize, it slams shut on your face.

Once your time is over , you become irrelevant.
